Orlando was electric this Tuesday as NXT rolled out another action-packed night full of hard-hitting matchups, rising talent proving their worth, and champions standing tall. Here’s everything that went down on the June 10th edition of WWE NXT.
NXT Championship – Oba Femi vs. Jasper Troy
The night closed with a colossal showdown as Oba Femi put his NXT Title on the line against the fast-rising Jasper Troy. Despite Troy’s relentless energy and refusal to back down, the champion’s brute strength and commanding presence proved too much. Femi retained, but Troy’s stock definitely rose after that performance.
North American Championship – Ethan Page vs. Sean Legacy
Ethan Page might be newer to NXT gold, but he looked every bit the champion as he defended against Sean Legacy. Page played it smart, picking his spots and slowing down Legacy’s high-octane offense. After a solid back-and-forth, a decisive finisher sealed the deal, and Page walked out still champion.
Tag Team Bout – High Ryze vs. The Family
Wes Lee was ringside backing up High Ryze (Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont), and his presence might’ve tipped the momentum their way. The Family, Luca Crusifino and Tony D’Angelo fought with their usual grit, but the newer duo of Igwe and Dupont continue to impress with their speed and chemistry. A win here could mean big things down the road for High Ryze.
Shawn Spears & Niko Vance vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura
This one was a brawl from the bell. Spears, the veteran tactician, teamed with the unpredictable Niko Vance to take on the rugged Briggs and powerhouse Inamura. It was Vance who snuck in the winning move, catching Inamura off-guard and scoring the three-count.
NXT Women’s Championship – Jacy Jayne vs. Lainey Reid
Jacy Jayne continues to prove she’s more than just talk. In a match that saw both women bring intensity and innovation, Jayne ultimately outmaneuvered Lainey Reid to retain her championship. Reid had a couple near-falls that had fans on edge, but Jayne’s experience shined through in the closing moments.
Lash Legend vs. Wren Sinclair
This women’s singles match didn’t last long, but it left an impression. Lash Legend brought the fire early, dominating most of the bout with her size and power. Wren Sinclair showed flashes of technical prowess, but a thunderous big boot shut the door quickly. Lash isn’t playing around.
Final Thoughts
NXT continues to strike a solid balance between showcasing homegrown talent and letting its newer arrivals make waves. With champions holding strong and new teams climbing the ladder, the road to Heatwave and beyond is looking more exciting than ever.
